R is 30.

What better way to spend the last night of your 20's than eat great BBQ and go Fowling! We had a great group out with us and had a great night. Dodge fowling is a must do for anyone who has tried regular fowling. I totally recommend checking out the Fowling Warehouse and Slow's. It was the best birthday celebration combination in the history of birthday celebrations. (I might be biased)

We started out the night at Slow's BBQ, the best BBQ in Detroit.  It lived up to the hype. YUM.

Ran got some delicious chocolate cake for his birthday. Thanks for sharing with me :)

This is the building next door to Slow's, you can almost make it out, but it is the CPA Building. Sort of fitting for the night... as R has been working super long hours lately. Although it didn't look like anyone was working in that building.

Next up was Fowling at the Fowling Warehouse.  You might just drive right by this place if you were looking for something else.  You can't miss the brightly colored former Toy Warehouse.  From the outside you might question whether you want to go in.

The staircase in... likely still doubting why you are here...

Then BAM, you are suddenly in this really awesome space, which feels totally legit and comfortable, and not the least bit shady.  We had told them we were coming because we had a larger group and it was an open fowling night, and we had pretty much the whole place to ourselves! It was really fun.  (sorry these pics are kinda blurry :( )

The Browns were expert Fowlers :)

Dan and Jen were really good too... I think they might go back soon. Jen rocked it! She was addicted pretty quick.

There he is, the reason we're all having such a great time! Happy birthday babe!

We're all Fowlers for life now! Our official team photo after a few rounds of dodge fowling, which was an awesome group game. Thanks everyone for making it out and trusting us when we said it would be fun.

Happy birthday Ran! I'm so thankful for you. You are the best husband and father that Cammy and I could ever ask for.  I am actually really looking forward to our thirties.  Life just keeps getting sweeter!
