We spent 4 days in the UP in the beginning of July. We stayed at
Hills Point Resort, a rustic 2-br cabin near Cedarville, in the Les Cheneaux Islands in Lake Huron. We couldn't have asked for better weather or a better place to stay. It was exactly what we needed and right on the lake with a nice shallow sandy beach for Cammy to play. We spent a day on Mackinac Island, and a day traveling to Sault Saint Marie to see the locks and then to Tahquamenon Falls, the lower falls and a stop to wade in Lake Superior. We spent the 4th with the MacDonald's and Kasiborski's on both Walloon Lake and Lake Charlevoix. We had a great vacation!! It's safe to say that Cammy loves all things boats, water, rocks, animals, and babies. Summer is so fun.
